Dream Bridal Shower for Wedding Planner
Remember Caroline’s Bridal Shower that we teased before in our 3 Tips for Planning a Bridal Shower post?? Well, we can finally share more, and we promise it was worth the wait! Every detail was meticulously planned by Mingle Events, and fellow local vendors came through big to shower the most deserving Caroline.

Caroline has made so many dreams come true for her wedding planning clients… she goes above and beyond for every couple, and it shows because they become lasting friends. Caroline is now getting married herself in March, so you better believe the Mingle team and friendors went all out for our girl’s bridal shower.

The shower was held at a gorgeous new venue just south of Asheville called The Venue at Mills River. With beautiful views and tons of open fields (great for guest parking) the property has ample space for outdoor ceremonies and events of any size (current max is 150 guests, but working on ways to increase this). A large house on the property can be rented for wedding party accommodations, and the nearby barn is the perfect reception space. With a shower full of wedding vendors in attendance, you could say we were all chatting about how great this venue will be for couples wanting to get married in the Asheville area…. and plotting ways to get to come back ourselves!
Greenery was installed throughout the barn by Springvine Design and rentals from both East West Vintage and Professional Party created perfect conversation nooks without closing off the room.
Speaking of those ‘bride turned friend’ situations… Maeve surprised Caroline by driving over from Raleigh for her shower! You may remember Maeve’s INCREDIBLE wedding from this previous post. It’s easy to see just how much love Caroline pours into her people.
Poppy and Bean may have been the highlight of the entire event. These precious donkeys from Blue Ridge Burros were not only so sweet as greeters, but a great photo op! Their packs were filled with florals for the shower, but often hold beverages for serving guests! Needless to say, we want them at every event from here on out.
