Engaged Asheville Events: Birthday Brunch!

I die!! This beautiful Birthday Brunch has me swooning over the gorgeous details… and those dahlias?! WOW! Local photographer Julia Rose chose Engaged to host her birthday party, and my goodness, the result was magical.

The pictures are adorable, the details to die for, and the overflowing love poured into the party so evident! The writing below comes from Julia’s own heart where she shares the dreams behind this magical event!

Planning the Party

When I started planning my 21st birthday brunch I knew I had to have it at Engaged Asheville. It truly is the perfect studio to throw a party! As a photographer, the white walls and bright, fun decor are a total dream. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to host my birthday brunch! After securing Engaged as the location I reached out to a few of my favorite creatives who helped make the magic happen!

I knew I wanted a cactus garden theme. All the little details worked together perfectly.

Flowers & Succulents? Yes please!

Oh You’re Lovely made custom bud vases for the centerpieces, and Oak and Oats added succulent planters (that may just be the cutest ever), Twigs and Twirls made me a gorgeous balloon garland, and Ashley Lotecki Design created a cake topper (for a donut cake of course). Several trips to Target and an Amazon order later everything pulled together for the big day!

Vendor Contributions

Local florist, Blue Ridge Blooms blew me away with the prettiest dahlias I’ve ever seen! I can’t say enough about how lovely the florals were. The Bokeh Booth brought their modern, classy photo booth to help me celebrate in style (they are the best). Mingle Events provided gorgeous furniture at Engaged, and I am so happy with how it turned out!

Engaged was the best location to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends. It was a wonderful morning full of hugs and laughs in a perfectly pretty space! I am grateful to their team for helping me have such a fun party!
