There are so many beautiful photo locations around Asheville for you to choose from to set the perfect scene for your engagement session! For any engagement session, I recommend choosing a location that you feel best represents you as a couple. It may be a place where you share your love of being outdoors, or maybe the location of your first date or first kiss (swoon!!). Wherever it may be, you’ll want it to be a location that you can express yourself and your unique personalities.

Mountain Views

The natural beauty of the mountains of Asheville, NC is a breathtaking backdrop for taking engagement photos. They also provide an exciting preview for out-of-town-guests to experience the landscape around Asheville before traveling.

Downtown Asheville

With local breweries, funky urban textures and historic architecture all within walking distance, Downtown Asheville presents an afternoon full of adventure. You may even find something you want to serve at your wedding reception to give your guests a taste of Asheville!

Biltmore Estate

With the beautiful gardens, spectacular estate home and the charming bass pond, the sky is the limit with photo opportunities at this location. Biltmore Estate offers great variety throughout the seasons. Everything from gorgeous Christmas decor surrounded by a blanket of snow, tulips in the Spring, blooming sunflower fields in the Summer and an amazing garden with colorful leaves in the Fall – the backdrops are endless!

Waterfalls

Waterfall backdrops make for an amazing photograph. The way the water catches the light in the early morning or late afternoon make for beautiful photos. Spend the day exploring the gorgeous waterfalls in Brevard, NC and have your engagement pictures taken while you’re at it!

Local Park Areas

Want beautiful scenery and a taste of nature while staying close to town? Local parks are a great choice for your engagement session!  They are great for when the weather is iffy or to add on to your local breweries/downtown location for extra variety.
